Horse riding school

Riding for every age.

Lessons, pony rides and trail rides on a hundred acres.

Bramblewood is a family run riding school on a hundred acres of bush and paddock, with quiet ponies for the smallest riders and horses for everyone else.

What you can do

No experience is needed. Every ride starts with a helmet fitting and a few minutes on the ground getting to know your horse.

Frequently asked questions

Is it suitable for beginners?

Yes. Most of our riders have never sat on a horse. A first lesson is at a walk, in the arena, with the instructor beside you.

Do we need to book?

Yes. Every ride and lesson is booked, so there is always a horse and an instructor ready for you. Call, or use the booking page.

What should we wear?

Long pants and closed shoes with a small heel. We provide helmets and boots to borrow.

Is there a weight limit?

Riders up to 95 kilograms are matched with a suitable horse. Pony rides are for children up to 40 kilograms.

What if it rains?

Light rain is fine. In storms or extreme heat we close and rebook your ride.
